Penny Jam
| Jam so many pennies between the door and the door frame that the person cannot turn the doorknob to get out. Even better if the pennies are superglued in place to prevent removal. Also you may wish to put vaseline on the inside doorknob to prevent them from being able to turn the knob. | |
Clear Tape Prank
| Place clear tape across the outside of a door from top to bottom. Frequently people will run into it especially if they are in a hurry. If the door is metal and has a metal frame, weld the person into (or out of) their room. Can be done to the hinges as well if there is no metal door. | |
Reverse Door Knob
| Remove someone's doorknob and reinstall it with the lock on the inside. Works best if the victim is in the room and the door is locked and you have his/her keys. | |
Reverse Peep Hole
| Reverse the peephole on peoples door. Allows for some interesting spying since very few people actually check this part of the door. | |
Brick It Up
| Brick up the entrances to a building at night before anyone arrives. | |
Elevator Jam
| Take a large group of friends with you into an elevator. Go up and down for about 15 min. Nobody will be able to go inside even though their floor door will open, because the elevator will already be jammed with riders. | |
Elevator Door Jam
| Tape a small piece of cardboard near the top of the elevator entrance door so it doesn't close. | |
Waiting For A Friend
| Hold the elevator door open for a long time and tell everyone inside that you are waiting for a friend. If they get pissed after a few minutes, tell them your friend specifically told you to wait and not go up yet. | |
Escaped Prisoner
| Dress yourself in an orange jumpsuit and sneakers. Shave your head and put a handcuff on one wrist. Then go knocking on people's doors asking if you can use their phone. Works best if you try this prank in a neighborhood where a jail is nearby. | |
Cereal Falling
| Take a paper plate and tape a short string underneath it and tape the other end of the string to the fridge door. Make sure to place the plate of cereal on top of the fridge. When your victim goes to open the fridge door, he or she will get a plate of cereal falling on their head. | |
Bang Snaps
| Place ''Bang-Snaps'' in precarious positions on a door so that they will drop and explode when the door is opened. (such as balanced on the doorknob) | |
Leave A Door Trail
| Steal a person's door. Leave a trail of clue's as to where to find it. Have them running all over the place trying to find it and have them end up somewhere near where they started. (like in the next room) | |
Recessed Door Prank
| If the victim has a recessed door, fill the area flush with the wall (perhaps with drywall) and paint to match the wall. Victim returns to a wall where the door used to be. | |
Early Morning Bucket of Water
| Balance a nearly full bucket of water against someone's door at night. When they open it the next morning it will fall and flood their room. Even better against elevator doors. | |
Plastic Force Field
| Use plastic wrap to block a doorway. When your victim opens the door and tries to walk right through. He will just end up bouncing back into the room he came from. | |
Seal A Door Shut
| Squirt a can of expanding polystyrene foam under a door. When the foam expands it will get hard and make it very difficult to open the door. | |
Automatic Locking Doors
| Some doors that automatically lock whenever they are closed can have the hole that the padlock bar goes into clogged. Just stuff it the next time the door is open. Then when your victim leaves and closes the door. It won't 'auto' lock, instead it will be open for anyone to go in and out as they please. | |
Door Jam Prank
| While your victim is in his room with the door shut. Jam a chair under the outside knob using the back of the chair. This will lock him inside his room until someone else lets him out. | |
Buck Naked And Cold
| While your victim is in the shower. Quietly open the door and steal his clothes/towel from the hanger. Your victim will be freezing cold and buck naked and won't know what to do. | |
Nameplate Swap
| Swap door nameplates with office suites from down the hall or on another floor. Most people won't notice until someone who is suppose to meet with them cannot find their suite. | |
